Teo Siu Wen Joann
Greeting, fellow educators! My name is Joann. I have always regarded teaching as a 'calling' and as a 'privileged' vocation. My affinity towards teenagers has sustained me in this profession for the past 4 years. The greatest satisfaction for me is to be able to witness my students' independence and motivation in acquiring knowledge and pursuing learning apart from me. I feel that my role is to provide a platform of opportunities and skills from which they can spring forth to accomplish their role in life efficiently, competently and uprightly. |

Kek Chiew Ching
Hi! As a P.E. teacher, I am very interested in the participation of outdoor activities, such as challenging high elements like rock wall, zip-line and abseiling. I also gain satisfaction when I am conducting the activities for the pupils, to see that they are able to challenge, have faith themselves and achieve what they thought was impossible. |
|
| My favourite hangouts are eateries at Causeway point and some coffee shops where my friends and I enjoy good food and good chats. My daily dosage consists of coffee, which is a must to start my day. I appreciate a simple cup from the average coffee-shop, as they usually provide strong and rich coffee. Playing badminton game over the weekends keeps me sane and recharged, ready for the new week ahead. |

Han Tui Kin
I am a pint-sized ordinary teacher teaching in an extraordinary mission school. Or rather being taught daily about God and love by my boys as I began embarking on this bittersweet incredible journey. I was bonded to teaching 'cause of my 3-year contract and now I am bonded to it 'cause it has become my ministry. My favourite coffee? Of course, the bittersweet Café Latte for its lasting richness, just like my teaching journey. |

Sukhjeet Kaur
Hi! I'm Sukhjeet, and I've been teaching Literature and English for the past three years at Swiss Cottage Secondary School. I'm an avid fan of books, movies, music – I try to take every opportunity to incorporate my love for Literature and media into every meeting with students. As cliché as it may sound, I live by one simple rule: Carpe Diem. What's my driving force in school? The hope that students graduate from school loving themselves and being the best they can be. |
